Installing XMonad on your system

Using XMonad with the default configuration file

• XMonads Default Configuration is rather minimal:
  • When you first start XMonad you will be present with an “Desktop-background-only” view. From here you can open applications via keyboard shortcuts

• Pressing alt + shift + enter will launch a terminal. XMonads default modifier key is alt,

• Xmonad provides three tiling algorithms (called Layouts) by default: tall, wide and fullscreen Pressing Space toggles between these Layouts
